    Get Streaming v0.1.0-beta

    Get_streaming is a TV-optimized launcher hub for self-hosted media servers and game streaming. It discovers your Jellyfin, Plex, and Emby servers plus Moonlight/Sunshine and Steam hosts, then launches their official desktop clients with a 10-foot UI you can drive with a remote, gamepad, or keyboard. This is the first public beta release.

    • Process lifecycle management — PID tracking, "Running" badge, crash detection, one active app at a time

    • Real Jellyfin integration — REST API client with auth, libraries, items, health checks
    • Full Linux distribution — Debian bookworm OS ISO with first-boot wizard, auto-login, kiosk Sway, remote control (IR/Bluetooth/2.4GHz/USB)

    • App tiles: 16:9 at 20% width (percentage-scaled), status indicators, drag-and-drop reordering (persisted)

    Known Issues / Limitations

    • Flatpak clients must be installed separately for Flatpak launch paths
    • Gamepad D-pad needs real-controller verification
    • Plex and Emby untested
